Established in 1954 by C.C. McNamara with mainly domestic and small
private builders as Clients
His Son, Brian took the business over in 1971 and registered the name
McNamara Fencing Contractors
From 1974, the Company commenced dealing with small commercial
Builders and was supplying fabricated steel for house construction
The move to Lonsdale occurred in 1980 and the fabrication business
was expanded
Due to growth pressures, a new office and factory complex, also in
Lonsdale, was completed in 1997
In 2002, Brian McNamara retired and the business changed hands
Further rapid expansion took place forcing a move to larger
premises at Reynella which were completed in January 2005
The new purpose-built premises are large enough now to cater
for future expansion
We have also registered a design for a new high security tubular
fencing system known as ‘M Point’®, which will add to our already broad
range of fencing products
